What do you hate that you can blame on causing global warming?

Stupidity.

The fix is really simple. Fix the public school system, though that may be a bit of a challenge...but not impossible.

It seems a denier thing, to have to couch things in terms of hate or faith or religion or conspiracy.

AGW is a problem all of us have contributed to, the problem is not just the U.S & China, all of us, we have to fix the problem or it will get worse.

The planet warming is not in question, and there is now little doubt that humans are the cause, yes it will cost money (quite a lot of money) to change our habits, and clearly many don't want to change, and as has been clearly demonstrated here they will come up with any number of excuses to try and show why we don't have to change. Some deniers are probably right in one respect there probably are some extreme greens out there who want us to live like cavemen, but it is false to try and claim they are anything but a minority any more then the limited number of extremists in the denier ranks. Obviously teens who come on here and ask when AGW will end the world are as poorly informed as a ritchie or a bruce.

None of them seem to have bothered to actually read the science.

I don't hate anybody, I do feel sorry for sad people who seem to cling to absurd conspiracy theories that are clearly nonsense, they have been let down by the education system badly.

But even allowing for a poor education to claim the worlds scientists are engaged in a global conspiracy is just ridiculous or that 1 or 2 snowstorms have somehow changed the direction of the last centuries pattern of warming is absurd. I honestly don't see how anyone who wants to be called a skeptic can support this sort of rubbish.

I, and Al Gore, blame all the snow we got a month ago on Global Warming.

The billions spent by the energy companies to misinform the public about global warming. Just like the tobacco companies who did the same to persuade us that smoking was not damaging to our health. They are even using the same PR company, The Heartland Institute.

The consequences of the tobacco companies was no doubt the deaths of many, whereas the consequences of the energy companies doing the same could be the death of millions if not us all.

Slow drivers. They must be causing AGW because they are going so slow. By the time you get where you want to go the climate has shifted. I could have walked today rather than following the car I was behind. I hit the long slow train and all the lights. Slow trains must cause warming too and I am close enough to tracks so I hear their whistles at all hours of the day. They must be causing warming. There can't be any other reason for them to blow their horns all day but I digress.

The continued polarization of politics in the USA -- Global Warming has become one more "us versus them" or "if you're not with us you're against us" talking point in American politics.

Politicians spend so much time pandering to party extremists that they can't agree on any more moderate compromise so nothing useful can get done.

The fact that on average the food that makes it to your dinner table is transported 1400 miles.
