I mistakenly forgot it was my late husbands fifth anniversary yesterday and my children are upset with me?

They, along with his sisters and his nephews, gathered at his grave for a few moments to hold a little private service. I forgot to show up. How can I make my children forgive me?

honestly ,he was probably more important to you than any of them,so just tell them you needed the day for yourself (even if its not completely true)and that he knows you think about him every day and does not need a service for it.

    good luck

You can only be honest with them and tell them the truth that you forgot. Tell them it was a Senior moment and was not done deliberately. Also say that you miss your husband every day and have private moments for him every day. Then say you are sorry he passed and give them a group hug.

They will never forgive you......tell them you wish to be with him on your own.
