How has the sewing machine influenced our society?

It revolutionized the textile industry by allowing fabrics to be mass produced. Now we have stuff like ready made clothes

The sewing machine has influenced society in a huge way ... If you think about it.There are any things around us that's produce by way of the sewing machine. Personally I think it was revolutionary.

With sewing machines clothing can be mass produced. But they are also used to churn out or put together a variety of things like, hats, purses, shoes, the seats of vehicles, planes and buses etc. They are used to make stuffed animals. Volley ball nets, baSKETBALL NETS AS WELL AS THE BALLS.We also have furniture that's been sewn with with stitching's, draperies, luggage's, etc. I mean there is so much in a stitch, much that can be sewn.

Sewing has come so far as to even now, we are able to sew in hair(lol) but not with a sewing machine.

Does anyone remember when bags of sugar or flour used to be closed with a stitch.??

I love the craft of sewing. One can be so creative in using one.

BTW ... Is this an essay topic, if so. I'd like to read the finished product before & after the grading??.

That's where AC/DC got there name from, a singer sewing machine. Look it up.

It helps fashion people to design and create their own designs and produce more clothes every fashion event that normal people barely wear.

It sews. Add it up.
