2007 Honda Element Overheating?
I have a 2007 Honda Element that has been maintenenced on schedule always. It has approx 55,000 which isn't that bad for the year. However last night it started to overheat. We checked the water (antifreeze, i think) and it had a little but we filled it to the line. That did nothing it was still overheating. We would drive less than a mile and it was at the top. I pulled over to check it out and there was no steam, but I noticed that the fans weren't on. When I turned on the heater they would turn on and that would cool it down faster. What could it be? Any help would be great thanks!

Did you examine to work out in case your radiator cap had lost stress? This got here approximately to my previous Civic returned interior the day. actually a $10 fix. be sure you examine it whilst the engine is chilly. If it does not 'pop' like a suction, then which would be your difficulty. whilst including the antifreeze, did you get the perfect antifreeze/water combination? in case you basically added at present anti-freeze, then that would additionally be a difficulty. If it is no longer the two of those, then you definately've got a hose leak or a radiator leak. Take it to a mechanic and it would be a particularly basic fix for them. probable $one hundred fifty activity if its a hose (you could as properly flush the radiator) and slightly greater in case your radiator is broken.
