I am looking for a battery-packed digi-camera?

I need to have the additional power of a battery pack for a digital camera .. hopefully under $300.00 for both .. If you know of a camera that will accept the batt-pack ,,, please send me the info .....

Most cameras have a DC input jack, even some of the cheaper cameras. If there is not a "Factory" battery pack you can easily build one.

If the jack is proprietary, or unusual, you might have to get an adapter cable made to plug into the battery charger. If you need the portability of batteries, scavenge this cable adapter for your home-made battery pack.

Many (not all, check) are running at 5 volts, which will work with 4, 1.2 volt li-ion cells.

Almost any camera in the Canon Rebel line accepts battery packs. I think the pack, it's not called that, is about $160 and the bottom line Rebel is $500.
