What are some good grunge songs relating to the novel 1984?

For a project I need to make a soundtrack for 1984 by George Orwell. I'm doing mostly grunge songs. I need songs who's lyrics or themes relate to themes or events in 1984.

What songs would fit

Here's what I have so far

Black Hole Sun- Soundgarden

Rape Me- Nirvana

The Man Who Sold The World- Nirvana

Black- Pearl Jam

Dirt- Alice In Chains

Swallowed- Bush

there are a lot of songs written by the Muse that were completely inspired by 1984. They're all on the album "resistance" which is also the name of one of the songs.

    hope I helped :)

Source(s): I did a similar report last year for my sophomore year of high school. I studies and researched and found out that the resistance album is based off of 1984.

the term "huge Brother" got here from that e book David Bowie wrote a track huge Brother in 1973 in keeping with that e book! Cant get extra effective than that...i think they have been going to make a play out of it and have his track in it....dont understand if that ever happend or not! good success!
