Why do you think racism still exists?

Undying hatred passed down from generation to generation within families, the ignorant still holding on to and believing age old myths about a WHOLE group of people, narrow minded pigs who REFUSE to come into the 21st century, jerks who still judge people on the brown color of their skin, etc, etc, etc! Right now it's 2011, and there are MANY MANY pigs out there who hate President Obama's guts simply because of the color of his skin! Forget all the rest, they hated him when they first saw him! It had nothing to do with his politics! It makes one think, why should another non White even bother running for that office in this STILL very racist country after seeing what Obama was put through? Too many here still believe in those age old racist stereotypes and myths about Black people.

if you truly think every race lives the same and is equal, youre the one who is living in ignorance.

what you call racism is many things, all of which have been around for as long as their have been people. why would it suddenly stop?

what does a world without racism and magical talking dragons have in common? youll only see either in a movie.

but hey, lots of people live their entire lives in a fantasy state, so more power to you. me, i choose to live in reality.

It's not just because they are ignorant. Most racist have limited self respect and low self esteem. It makes them feel better about themselves if they can look down on others.

Sadly, as long as there's people... there wil be racism. Why do people like making others feel bad? Why are people so damn mean? we'll never know exactly they just are and you have to deal.

because separate races, and cultures, still exist; because human beings have not evolved to the point where we are all blind; because societies still fear and reject what they cannot understand (i.e. different cultures.) it's one of our species' great flaws - we were all made to be unique, yet we can't embrace our differences.

I think its arrogance. People are raised without care anymore. Its sad.

It has nothing to do with race, it's about the culture you are brought up in.
