Does she want to be my girlfriend if she asked for my number but doesn't respond to me?
A week ago, there was a girl in my class. She came up to me and asked me for my number which I gave out and wanted to meet with me to finish an assignment which we did. She seemed to like me and wanted to know more about me. I told her about an event if she wanted to come with me. She responded that she would love to and wanted me to sit next to me in class. Throughout the week, we text each other to see how we are doing. The last I heard was that she would talk to me later and call back. Then when came the event day, I called, and text but didn't get a response. After the event, I emailed her "too bad you missed it but feel free to contact me so we can do something and if she had facebook. I enjoy your company." The next two days I didn't hear any response. What should I do b/c I like her??? I never had a girlfriend before and would love to have one.

I only have a 57% best answer percentage, so take this with a grain of salt. She's just not that into you. I wouldn't rule out the idea she's running some kind of $#!+ test on you as well.
The ball's in her court. Don't contact her anymore. You have nothing to gain by looking desperate and clingy. Move on.
The better way to get a girlfriend is to pursue options with multiple girls instead of putting one in particular on a pedestal.
