Why don't people who claim to be very concerned?
about their health call the doctor before posting to an online forum asking random strangers to make them feel better? Wouldn't it be better to call the doctor first and THEN ask if someone else had the same experience?

They're tightwads, and don't want to spring for a doctor's visit (everyone knows a doc won't tell you sh*t over the phone). Either that, or they're just stupid.
I'm betting on the latter.
