Stats in the nba is overrated when looking at players?

I agreee 100%. I have watched every Heat game and every Bulls game on league pass. Lebron may have better stats than Rose, but he has not been nearly as impactful. Even though people are talking about Chicagos defense, I think that without Rose, they win 12 less games so far. He is so more valuable to the Bulls. Stats cant tell you that. Same with Noah. He impacts the game in so many ways(not the last week or so tho) and always has energy. You wouldnt be able to tell how much Noah changes the game by looking at the box score

What you do for the team and how you impact your team to get that W is usually reflected in the stats. But stats are only good for judging offensive production. Defense is more than just steals and blocks. You can't really tell how good a player was by those stats.
