Is there any way to download Flash Player 9?

I have been to the website numerous times, but the only one that seems available is the newest version. There is a webpage that is supposed to give the installer for the older versions, but when I click the links all I get are zip files. I have no idea what I am supposed to do here.

    Zip files are a compressed format, which typically contain numerous files(kind of like a windows folder). In this case, the zip file includes the installation executable, and further documentation.

    A program is needed to extract these files, i recommend WinRaR or WinZip; They are both free to use for at least 30 days.

    All you need to do is extract the files to a directory (ex. c:\temp), go to the directory you extracted it to, and run the setup.

    I would strongly urge you not to do this. Older versions of Flash Player had severe security defects that were widely used to compromise computers and install malware.

    extract the zip files and click the .exe file.

    At www.oldapps.com search for flash player 9 and you will be presented with several choices.
