The graduate with a science degree asks, "Why does it work?" The graduate with an engineering degree asks, "How does it work?" The graduate with an accounting degree asks, "How much will it cost?" The graduate with an arts degree asks, "Do you want fries with that?"
Sure this one will get me a "violation", but could not resist. Especially since it is true.

You need a higher education for the service sector too. People have built a vast and complicated society which I would say requires a great deal more understanding than any machine and more relevance than any theoretical science. Society needs its lawyers, journalists, historians, geographers and bureaucrats.
