Questions about lip/nose piercings - Snake bites, spider bites, angel bites and stud?
Okay, so I have a lot of questions:
First, I'm not sure which piercings I want. I KNOW I want either double spider bites, angel bites or snake bites. Everyone's telling me go with snake bites, but I like how spider bites look, and double would be really really awesome. Then there's angel bites, because I really like how they look, too.
Now, here's a problem: I'm 14. My mom will let me get my hair dyed and everything, so I'm sure she'd let me get piercings. But... Money. That's gonna be an issue. And I need to know a place to get them. I don't know any tattoo/piercing places. And I don't know how much they'll cost, but I don't think I can shell out that much, and I don't think my mom will be paying a lot for them.
Back to the whole equation of which do I get. Now I really want rings. Similar to the ones in this picture http://bestuff.com/images/images_of_stuff/210x600/...
I want to get the piercings all at once. What would the price be and what would be recommended by you guys?
I am also wanting to get a nose stud. Nothing big, but I want to get one. How much would that cost?
FINALLY: What would be the maintenance of all these piercings, what would I have to do to keep them clean, etc.? I'm not afraid of the pain, just getting them and keeping them clean.
I'm not worried about healing and all of that, I can take it, I'm worried about getting them.

Piercings (jewlery) are anywhere from 20 and up, facial piercings are about 30-60, don't get a lot of piercings at once... you need to keep lip piercings fairly clean so they'll require a fair amount of care for the obvious reason of you eat near them... and its your face, some tattoo... most reputable ones wont pierce till your 16 or 17, and i think snake bites are the coolest (angel bites freak me out) so if you decided to get snake bites, or w/e including the piercing cleaner, piercing, and any jewelry i'd save about 80-100 idk anything about nose studs.. but id guess from 20-50 or so... so like idk 160 for facial and nose stud and make sure you clean it RIGHT the last thing you want is a scar from that.. luckly face heals quick

I've been researching a lot on lip rings myself lately. Money can be an issue depending what you want and where you go. You'll pay for the piercing and the jewelry. I've seen it as much as $100 but then again, the place I want to go is $30. I'm sure if you buy your own rings, it'll be cheaper. But don't be too stingy and want the cheapest. These people are putting a hole in your lip, you want them to do a good job and not get you infected. :) So, yes, you do get them done all at once. Might have a fat lip for a bit but that goes away. I suggest looking up Youtube videos to get an idea of how it'll all go down. Like snakebites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LC0C5Xk2f0 Spider bites:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8FohQL26qw Angel Bites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cylRLjiV00 or Double Snake Bites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0fan0teP7k ... Look up your area and "piercing shops" again, that is how I got my price range. :) The size of a typical ring is 14g anything bigger starts to make a bigger hole. Generally nose piercings are the same as lip. The maintenance of all this is mouthwash 2 times a day to kill bacteria (hey your dentist was right!) and probably clean around the ring. You can look here to get some more info on cleaning and making sure to not get an infection --> http://www.wikihow.com/Care-for-a-Lip-Piercing
I hope that was enough information. Message me if I missed anything or have anymore questions.

I have my tongue and my left eyebrow pierced.....eventually I want to get my lip and nope done as well.
Ok, so...My eyebrow piercing is still healing because I just got it on the 24th of last month, so about 12 days I've had it so far. They told me to wash it with antibacterial soap twice a day (morning and night) and any time you might touch or bump it (I use a Q-tip for cleaning). They failed to mention to turn it every once in a while, but I knew that already. This piercing cost me $35 total....for the starter ring, a ring of my choice and to get it pierced.
Now my tongue piercing isn't really a fair deal seeing that I got it almost a year ago in Germany. I couldn't really eat much and I had to wash my mouth with mouthwash after eating anything and after smoking. You shouldn't have to worry about the smoking part cause you're only 14, but I know what peeps your age are like ;) Anyhew, this piercing cost me $100 (80 eur)....so like I said.....not a fair one to put out there as far as price cause I could have gotten it done for a LOT less in the states, but it was the only thing I had to bring back from Germany.
Before getting any piercing done, make sure you eat something! Huge mistake if you don't! (Ooops...My bad lol) And even if you can handle the pain, do yourself a favor until you get the hang of how your body will take the piercing.....DON'T get up right away! I myself can handle the pain to where everyone is surprised I don't even flinch, but for some reason or another, my body itself can't handle it and I almost passed for my tongue piercing and had a seizure for my eyebrow piercing. I'm just say'n....your body is gonna do whatever your body is gonna do......no shame in that.
If ya wanna get them done all at once, go ahead. I prefer to take care of one then get another later (less hassle/rinsk of infection if your attention isn't all over your face if ya know what I mean).

Consider the healing time. Would you want to be able to eat/drink/sleep on one side of the mouth while the other side heals or do you think you can put up with the hassle for the next few months having piercings on both sides of you mouth?
