Witches: Witch's bottle part 2 - Ingredients?

I have been researching and I've heard mentioned a couple of times that there is a Witch's bottle you can make that absorbs negativity and turns it into positive energy but I haven't found the details anywhere on what kind of combination of things would create that scenario. This is the kind of bottle I would want to keep in my house.

I don't like the idea of harming someone even if it's their intent to harm me. I like this idea because the sender can keep sending all they want but the results would be positive for the "would be" victim.

I would like any ideas you might have about this, stones and herb combinations especially.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Traditionally witches bottles contained things like broken glass, tacks, nail clippings, hair, urine, blood, and feces. Basically anything that was gross or potentially hurtful was put in the bottle with the idea that if anyone tried to hurt you, they would encounter the protection of the bottle and have their cruelty turned back on them.

There's no tradition of the kind of bottle you're asking for but if you think about it, you can alter it to that purpose. Just think about the kinds of things that catch or soften or sweeten... so spider webs would be good, honey or molasses, feathers, flower petals, etc. Whatever you can come up with that sounds good to you.

  • This is the classic recipe, quoted from the original text:

"Eye of newt, and toe of frog,

Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,

    Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,

    Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,--

For a charm of powerful trouble,

Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."
