Thoughts on Denver ever since Melo took his talents to NY?

i personally think the nuggets would have a worse record than it is now if melo would have stayed. And the fact that Denver already had a lot of pieces to win ball games after he left, no one should be complaining that he wasn't loyal or anything. It's a different story for Lebron though. He was basically the whole team and him leaving cleveland like that was just hopeless for them. Melo shouldn't be criticized that he left by any means because he only made his former team better.

Update:

@bsbll- For me, i think chemistry and depth>Star level in the playoffs

DEN might have better record since trade but NY got the best player in the deal. Plus 3 ex-Knicks are injured now which is not good in the long run. Melo had 3 GW FG's as a Knick already! BTW The new Knicks now have adjusted to D'Antoni's style and the 7 game winning streak to show for it. Good trade.

BTW- Most of DEN players are free agents this or next season. Good luck re-signing them all!

Not only that he was upfront about it, had it done through trade (instead of free agency) so the team got better. And the worse thing about lebron is that he wouldn't tell anyone what he was going to do til all the free agents were signed then he finally came out to say he's going to miami. Punk. It would have been okay if he would have said right away he wasn't resigning and made a decision in a normal time span like everyone else instead of dragging it out for show and messing with people.

Both teams are better, but the Nuggets don't have a consistent star. Sure, they have depth, but come playoffs, they'll be wishing they had a star that can lead the team.

Besides, if they play the Thunder,t hey don't have much of a chance. The Thunder are essentially the same team as the Nuggets, but just better, by quite a bit. Same style, but with more stars.

There playing great ! I think it was good for Denver that melo left, cause they got way better now, but on the other side Melo and NY are not playing that well, so its not soo good for melo !

One bad thing for Denver is that they dont have a star on there team that can help them out in the playoffs.

dont evaluate Melo and LeBron, LeBron is in a various type than Melo and Durant is now exceeded Melo. Melo didnt take any team to the finals so what r u speaking approximately. No he didnt carry the team in Denver. He had Chauncey, Iverson, Kenyon Martin(who replaced into nevertheless enjoying ata intense point) Melo replaced into there perfect participant, yet he didnt carry them

I think, that Melo was the very big plague in the Nuggets that slowed down the team and caused them not to win championships, Melo fitted bettey in NY.

As of right now, it is fair to say that both team got the deal they wanted. We'll see who go further to this playoff
