No. It is true that coal fired power plants release more radiation than nuclear power plants, but this illustrates how insignificant the radiation released by nuclear power plants actually is.

Sorry not sure what you are trying to deny now, are you saying burning coal does not give of small amounts of radiation. Or that the radiation given of is higher then a normal nuclear reactor, as, if a reactor is working correctly it's design is meant to stop the escape of as much radiation as possible.
Unless of course something like an earthquake & tsunami damage one or several of the reactors of such a plant.

Hi Hypnobun The fist thing people need to know is radiation relates to HEAT and the thing we need to monitor is the RADIOACTIVITY that's the bad stuff As you know heat rises and can carry RADIOACTIVE NANO particles with it high into the atmosphere Google's your friend do some research on the different types of radioactive materials man digs up and pumps into the air Cheers and have a great day.
Edit Here's a couple of links for you

you mean monitor the radiation from coal plants in exactly the same way we monitor nuke plants?
don't hold your breath dude! ain't gonna happen! the greenatics are not going to allow 60 years of wildly successful anti-nuke propaganda to be canceled out by the comparison.
