How do I set the aperture number on my Nikon?

I have a Nikon D3000, and I am clueless as to how to set the aperture of the camera. Does anyone know how?

    So Otherwise you would be able to find so many answers to the most common problems about the camera simply by Reading the Owners Manual

    Press the button next to the LCD, the one that's the lowest and you'll have access to the aperture of the camera.

    Read the instructions that came with your camera. If you do not have a copy, they can be downloaded from the Nikon website.
