Does anyone else think medical marijuana should be outlawed?

The whole issue is pointless because marijuana has never killed anyone, I could not say the same for alcohol or cigarettes.Sure the smoke aspect should be treated the same as cigarettes as far as public places but why not just legalize it.

It seems obvious to me that medical marijuana is a sham, a scam used by people who want to get high. I'd estimate less than 1% of people have an actual medical condition that is helped by marijuana. Marijuana simple isn't a good pain reliever. If someone has serious pain, then the serious drugs work better, for mild pain a few aspirin does someone more good then being baked all day. For a rare few people, it is a better pain reliever, without addiction. Then you have the complete nonsense where people claim they have "social anxiety" or depression, about like claiming that bourbon is your medicine.

If marijuana were a legal prescription drug, like anti-biotics or any real medication, rather than a quasi legal one where patients prescribe it to themselves after one visit, it would rarely be the doctor's real choice.

The vast majority of the potheads who use this boondoggle should be ashamed of the few people who actually use it as medication for pain or appetite.

And what does this medical marijuana limbo do? Nothing but continue to make billions for organized crime, as it is still illegal. The same criminals make the profits.

You know why California didn't legalize marijuana? Every sham medical pot user voted against it, afraid that it would be taxed.

Stop this sham of medical marijuana. Legalize it, regulate it, tax it.

Bring the business out of the shadows and put it in the hands of the American farmer.

The focus needs to be on the repeal which gives usa hemp.

I think America has enough problems without this crap. Maybe the revenue generated from the legalization could start bringing this country out of the ground. But nobody really wants that, do they? Why would we want to put murderous pharmaceutical companies out of business? Legalization of marijuana messes with a bunch of different corporations, from clothing to diesel. It's effect on cancer can't be denied. There's lists of medical purposes & even more manufactured goods.

hey, atleast you do actually have to see a doctor. I (nor your kids) have to see anyone to go robo trip from the cold and cough aisle or get some soft speed from the weight loss aisle.

There are tons of meds over the counter that produce higher highs with far more dangers than mairjuana.

I will FULLY admit mairjuana doesnt kill pain as well as vicodin or morphine. I also know that I personally am not coherrent enough to even have a conversation on morphine. Even on the less extreme, vicodin makes people higher than marijuana does.

medical marijuana is a joke especially in CA. all you have to do is find some quack doctor tell him you hangnail has been bothering you and he will write you a preseciption
