How would I fit a piece of fence betweeen concrete and brick gap?
A property I am hoping to move into has almost perfect fences but there is about a 10 inch gap at the end of the fence. There is a concreate post next to the brick wall. I have 2 dogs so I'm wondering how I could put a bit of fencing to secure it off. I was thinking of using welded mesh.

The most secure way to fasten to brick and concrete is by using screw anchors made for the purpose. They consist of an expandable insert that fits into a hole drilled into the concrete or brick - they go in snugly and when you screw a fastener into them, they expand and grip the side of the hole.
For something like a short length of fencing, the plastic ones should suffice.

That's a very good answer, but may I suggest you get it galvanised first, that way it should last for years, without painting. But if your inclined to paint it then do so, by all means after its weathered a month or so which is similar to etching & giving the paint something to adhere to!
Cheers!
