I am a guy. There was a girl that seemed to like me. I told her about an event if she wanted to come with me. She responded that will let me know. Later she called and said I will come but never showed up. What does that mean?

She changed her mind. She didn't not like after all, but just say she will go to an event with you, but didn't want to tell you at the time. She forgot about meeting you. She had something else to do.

waste of time, u should confront her and then forget about her.
Im sure lots of other girls would have wanted to go to the event with you

She couldn't tell you no because she didn't want to hurt your feelings so she ditched you instead.
