Did the Lakers lose because Adam Morrison wasn't on the bench cheering them on?

He is a motivator

The Lakers lost for several reasons...the biggest of which is that this collection of Flakers were exposed by adversity. Much like the Heat...they are a team of frontrunners and don't have what it takes to overcome when down in a series. The Lakers lost their team chemistry...and when that happens to teams with one star player as their focus-they fall apart. PHILLIP (putz) finally got tired of Kobe's narcissistic neediness and sort of checked out when his team most needed him (to play child psychologist).

Those cheap shots by Bynam and Odom prove my point and provide the proper send-off for PHILLIP!

Isn't there a dead rock icon named Morrison? THAT Morrison. Dunno who the heck you're referring to.

    To answer you specifically: NO.

No one that was NOT a starter (nor NOT on the team for that matter) had a quote "motivator" role. That job went to a man who has more motivating-talent basketball-wise than ALL OF Morrison's pinky-finger... ..

    ...that man is.... >

Phil Jackson. Never compare Legends to guys who'd make more money pumping gas down at the corner.

    Source(s): that's the coach's job.
