Who did Disney trailer voiceovers in the 1960s?

I know that Marc Elliot has been the voice of Disney trailers for some time, but who did the voiceovers for trailers from the 1960s? The ones with the movie titles that seemed to fold up towards the screen. I know Paul Frees did a lot of work for Disney, but I don't think it was him (?).

all i can remember his first name was rex and he died some years ago. he also did the narrator on some of the movies like about a mountain lion that was rescued by a person and given to a forest ranger with a name that had some thing to do with lefty.
