i just want to know how to treat a thigh cramp
like pointing toes up for calf cramps

It depends on what part of the thigh cramped...the front, back or side.

So let's say you'll sit on a bed with the back of your legs on the bed. Then gently straighten the leg, that will cause the quads to contract... if it begins to cramp, then slowly release, rest and repeat with less effort. When you do it again, stay under the level of where it will cramp and notice if the leg is able to release smoothly... If not, that's a good sign the brain is reorganizing the movement as you might notice it hesitating on the way back. Just repeat a few times using less and effort yet remain focused on the slow release.
