hey guys just wanted to know if anybody knew how much air resistance was in a standard 8x3 metre Parachute

= weight that it could support
= 0.5 * density of air * drag coefficient * area exposed * [ terminal speed of fall ]^2
= 0.5 * 1.269 * 1.1 * 24 * [ speed of fall ]^2
= 16.75* [ speed of fall ]^2
= 16.75 * 55 ^2
= 50668.75N ----answer
Take terminal velocity of a skydiver in a belly to earth free-fall position is about 195 km/h (or 55 m/s).
