horoscope: what is the differenence between janma lagna predictions and kochaara predictions?

both are similar as both are calculated on the basis of birth date and birth timing but they differ in the case of predictions period

example if mars is exalted and in good place in janma lagna then the predictions are that the person will be a courageous person and bold enough as mars is dhairiya kaarakan

it is in general that this person is bold through out the life with some exceptions

it is based on the janma lagna and will never change in life time

but kochara predictions are with referece to a specific time or period and are predicted/calculated on the basis of RAAshi and perhaps star and they will be valid for that specific period only

example sade sani or seven and half years sani , ashtama sani etc etc .

with reference to the above example if the mars is exalted as per kochaara or a specific time and it is in good place from the raashi and that is for the time being as planets are moving constantly as per their time table then that person will be bold enough for that period only.

dhasa bhukthi calculations are also kochaaara only

Astrology is as real and accurate as you allow it to be. The predictions are fashioned in such a way as to be as general as possible to be applicable to as many people as possible. If you want a prediction to be true, you'll find a way that it'll fit. But there's no mystical power of fortune telling in the position of the stars.
