Does anyone know why Square Enix is selling?
Parasite Eve 1 and 2 on Amazon for such high prices? Parasite Eve 1 is selling for like $170.00 and PE2 is selling for like $200.00
I have the PE 1 game...I brought it back pretty much when it first came out..( 1998) and its still in playable condition. I payed probably 40 for it at the time...
Ive always wanted part 2....but not at 200 dollars.
So anyone know why? Is it a rarity case or what?

Square aren't selling it for that price, it's private sellers who think people will pay that much because of its perceived rarity.
Can't remember which, but you can buy one of them as a downloadable game from the PSN store if you own a PS3 or PSP.

it's new, thus making it extremely rare. it's extremely rare to find a game that hasn't been opened in more than a decade. pe was also one of those square games that kind of went under the radar because it was released around the same time as the ff games so not too many of the pe games were made.

Square enix are not selling it, amazon are they probably found a few copies in their warehouse and due to its rarity they believe they can sell it for a lot.
Why not buy a copy from someone on ebay it would be a lot cheaper.
