Iron-On Transfer doesn't stay?
So I wanted to design my own t-shirt, so I bought a black t-shirt and a pack of Iron-on transfer paper (FOR DARK COLORS) at Michael's. When I finished, the design looked fine. I wore the shirt about 2 days later, and the picture on the shirt started to peel, and crack, and fall off a little. I thought that maybe washing it would help the pigments of the picture stay into the shirt, but then the picture came out completely white and basically rinsed off. I followed all of the washing and iron on directions. I have 2 sheets left and I want to make 2 more shirts. What should I do to help the design actually stay?

The most important tip is to wash and dry the shirt first without using any fabric softener or dryer sheets - the iron-ons won't stick well if there's any kind of sizing or coating on the fabric.
