Go to Control Panel. Open Windows Updates. Go to Update History. Locate IE 9 there and right click on it to uninstall it. If your last Internet Explorer was version 7, then you will automatically get that one back. If it was IE 8, then go through this same procedure to uninstall IE 8 to get back to IE 7. Once you get the Internet Explorer back that you want, make sure you don't have your Windows Updates set to install automatically or you'll get IE 9 right back again. Set the Windows Updates to allow you to choose the updates to install. Then when IE 8 or 9 appear as a Windows Update, you can highlight it and "hide" it so it doesn't get installed again. Hope this will help.
