Rugby League. Is there going to be a log jam at the top of the table?

Question

The top teams are starting to lose games, and the teams with the potential at the start of the season are starting to win.  Teams like the Raiders, Bunnies and Sharkies. Is the final top 8 as clear cut as we thought a few weeks ago?

There always is. NRL is a tough comp. but I think its safe to say at this stage that 5 spots in the top 8 are taken barring a massive collapse by a team in that part of the ladder. The Eels, Roosters and Raiders are effectively finished for the year but in saying that are only 2 wins outside the 8. Titans are 3 wins out and they seem to be unable to get there. Though it only takes a few wins on the trot and suddenly they are back in it. Its whether they can get these wins that is the issue. At this stage titans seem  to be fully written off.

so effectively there is 3 spots left for 10 teams and over the next month i expect it to get too maybe 6 teams for 3 spots . But top 8 should end up (in no particular order) Storm Broncos Cowboys Dragons manly (either Knights, Tigers, warriors bulldogs panthers Rabbitohs)

Im not sure about the top of the table. But from Teams 5-10 I dont think there will be much in it. I think this will be one of the closest seasons yet (In terms of the close amount of points needed to get into the top 8). I think now that teams are sorting themselves out we can create 3 groups. Teams which will be in the 8, Teams which might be in the 8 and teams that wont be in the 8.

Dragons, Manly, Storm, Broncos and Cowboys will all be in the 8.

Warriors, Bulldogs, Knights (Dont think theyl make it tbh), Tigers, Rabbitohs, Eels, Panthers, Sharks (Might get on a winning spree)

Titans, Roosters, Raiders (Just lost to many games imo) wont be in the 8
