What are the best MCAT preparation books?

For a very long time I have been reading reviews over reviews of the best MCAT preparation books. Unfortunately every single review I read says something different, some say examkrackers, some say Princeton, some say Berkeley, I honestly don't know what to pick.

I need a set of books that teaches me the stuff I don't know. I actually have a very weak science background since some of the professors I had weren't that good so I NEED a book that teaches me as well as prepare me for the MCAT not just give me shortcuts because they will be useless without a grasp of the concept. Which books would be the best for this? And should I get the comprehensive book that is a single book for the entire MCAT or should I get each individual Subject review? Please help me with this. I don't care if the book will take me a long time to get through because I have some extra time before the MCAT but I need to start NOW if I want to be ready to take it when I'm supposed to. Any help is appreciated and if you can please give any experiences you had with the material.
