Do gods enjoy watching humans fighting?

Why didn't some real gods stop the fighting in Afghanistan?

Of course God doesn't enjoy watching humans fight. He loves us so very much and wants us all to get along peacefully, following his word.

That's why he left multiple contradicting texts with instructions in each of them to reject anyone else's beliefs, made all of the texts seem to contradict reality on a massive level, and refuses to show back up during times of conflict to say "okay, here's what I really said and here's what it really means, so now hopefully all you guys can put this behind you".

I mean, if you were omniscient (knew exactly what to say to someone to persuade them of the truth), omnipotent (had the power to persuade them), omnibenevolent (loved them enough to go to the trouble), and omnipresent (and were always right there with them to do it), wouldn't you leave a bunch of ambiguous Bronze Age and Iron Age texts lying around for everyone to squabble over rather than explain things directly to each of your children... you know, like any good parent does by insisting on communicating with their own children through nothing but cryptic notes and sending random strangers to make fantastic and often conflicting claims about what you want rather than talking to your children person to person?.

God has given free will to all creatures. According to this human beings can choose any kind of life they like. When they choose wrong they suffer. This is natural. God has given your life in your hands. It's up to you to live or destroy.
