What happened t the plan to build a water slide park in Ft Lauderdale?
About a year ago, the Sun Sentinel reported a plan to build a very large water slide park near the Ft Lauderdale executive airport. Has anything come of that? Also, the Marlins floated a plan to build a park near Dolphin stadium. What became of that? l have not heard anything since the story broke.

No water park in Ft. Lauderdale (I've been there four times this year). Probably because of the recession, budgeting.. Ft. Lauderdale is not swimming in cash right about now.
