What would you do if two escaped prisoners were in the woods near your home?

Two escaped from a prison 15 miles from my house and now they are somewhere around here. There have been a lot of police and dogs in the woods trying to find them. My dad's at work, so my mom got the 12 gauge out just in case they try to break in. One is African American and the other is a Mexican, both have charges of robbery.

Your thoughts? (This is real, mind you.)

    Just about the same thing your Mom has done...

    I'd get the wife and kids in the house, turn out my Rhodesian Ridgeback for his barking and bad attitude towards strangers, and I'd sit out on the porch with my M-1 Garand and Remington shotgun. I'd have the phone... I'd let the sheriff's office know THIS house is safe and armed (so I don't get shot).

    Around here, IF I got to them first, I'd be legally permitted to shot them...

    I would either leave my house, or stay inside and lock all the doors and windows and draw the shades.
