They out-do us in most technical electronic items.

They are taught at an early age education is an honor.

The family is also honored.There are both a father and mother

for the children,A one parent household is rare.

It isn't. If you actually live here, which obviously you don't, you would see that although they are ahead of the rest of the world technologically, they are still living in the stoneage when it comes to issues of equality, racial / cultural understanding, etc... Banking in Japan is what it used to be like in the UK about 20 years ago. It's shockingly bad.

Please don't judge a whole country on some stupid manga comics or anime programmes.

I don't see the big deal that they are usually ahead in developing TVs and washing machines with Fuzzy Logic on them (whatever that is). I'd prefer that they work out a way to solve the leaking nuclear reactor deal. Or maybe you are basing 'so in the future' on manga?
