Can a dog really play shortstop?

Much as I appreciate the humor and philosophy of Peanuts, I always doubted it. But now we have a westie who, I have no doubt, could play major league ball.

If they would use an undersized tennis ball instead of a baseball.

And if I could teach him to hit a curve...

Nothing with surprise me with a Westie. What a lovely dog. Why don't you take him to flyball or agility. You would have so much fun.

My Lab's can both definitively out run and out catch almost anyone ... I still however despair at teaching them to throw. Let alone to get them to figure out where to throw the ball to given the variable nature of the game! Good Luck!

What an idiot. Dogs don't have thumbs. Maybe you should start worrying about the more important things in your life.

Check your grammar on the last two "sentences" by the way.

I'm going to offer my dog up to the Cubs.

She can also bat but they'd have to change the rules to T-ball.
