Homeschooling wants a High School diploma how do i get it?

There are umbrella schools out there that will provide a diploma and transcripts, and allow you to use your own curriculum. I really like HomeLife Academy (http://homelifeacademy.com/)

but you have to be enrolled for a year in order to graduate. If you are finishing up your senior year, I'd just make my transcripts and either buy or make your own diploma. Both are legal and colleges, even the Ivy Leagues, do not usually question them. In fact they never even look at the Diploma. Colleges want your SAT/ACT scores and your transcripts, and possibly a portfolio of your work.

If you've been homeschooling using your own curriculum, then you (or more accurately, the parents) provide the diploma and transcripts.

For a transcript, there are many websites that offer templates that you can use to fill in the correct information for your education. One is at http://www.donnayoung.org/ (see their high school section for the forms).

For a diploma, use your computer and printer. A diploma is just a fancy piece of paper that gives the name of the school (your parents can make up a name or keep it simple and call it something like "Smith Family's Homeschool") from which you are graduating, the name of the student and date, and says that you have met the requirements for graduation (or something to that effect) and is signed by the school officials (in this case, the parents in charge of the homeschooling).

Of the two documents, the transcript is really more important. That's the one that colleges and employers may ask to see. The diploma is something that they'll ask if you have, but rarely (if ever) ask to actually see it.

It depends on requirement,some allow homeschooling with no high school diploma and some do not allow,but it is good to have high school diploma.

As far as I know, the state doesn't issue diplomas to homeschoolers. You can design your own online at http://www.homeschooldiploma.com/ Some homeschooling organizations might have graduation ceremonies for seniors, that's how I got my diploma. You won't get transcripts, you have to make them.

You can't be issued a diploma & transcripts by institutions you didn't attend.

We made them ourselves of course.

A diploma is a pretty certificate you hang on the wall. I designed it on photoshop and printed it up.

Colleges & universities never actually ask to see one... they just want to know if you've earned one (basically, that you graduated/finished studies).

Transcripts is basically just a list of what you've studied. You can make them yourself, too.
