I remember middle school volleyball! oh the good days :)

mostly at volleyball conditioning you will do more workouts (pushups and running) than actual volleyball thats not to say that you won't do any volleyball but its definitely more of a workout.

    what to wear

*court shoes (asics, mizunos but running shoes will do fine if its nothing really serious)

*Volleyball spandex ( mizunos, asics , smack, and nike make good ones but you can pick up a pair at target that work fine)

    * Comfy t shirt that isn't to loose or too tight ( Under armour athletic shirts are really comfy)

    *hair ties

    * long knee socks or ankle socks

    * SPORTS BRA

*knee pads ( walmart has them if you are a beginner and they are like 6-8 bucks but I would invest in some mizuno knee pads which can range from 20-30. Also asics, nike dri fit and under armour make good knee pads)

But for just athletic attire I think that a T-shirt and soffee shorts will do. make sure you have well broken in running/volleyball shoes. Also bring an extra t shirt if you get sweaty and a water bottel. And for your hair I would get some pre-wrap to use as a head band if you have problems with fly-aways.

At my practices we do many things.

We start out peppering. We have to keep it going until we can at least get a minute. Those who can't have a penalty. It is normally sit-ups push-ups. Run a lap or two. THen you do it again with the same results. Once a majority of the players pass the minute then we work on the basic fundamentals. Those are always good because everybody needs that. Sometimes we play games like queen of the court or play real volleyball. sometimes we will be set up in the hitting position and the coach or a setter will set you the ball so that you will hit it over. We also practice dives. For this make sure you wear your knee pads so you don't hurt your knees. Wearing longsleaved shirts also help.. Before we leave practice we have to get 10 serves over the net from a spot confortable for us.

    I hope this helps.

Good luck and just enjoy the game.

This is a list of what our team does in the summer, our coach is well disciplined and knows her stuff:

    -One Timed mile Per Week

    -Playing Volleyball

-Jumproping Everyday-speed and double for quicker feet

    -100 full-body sit-ups

    -perfect push ups

    -power/squat jumps

    -lunges/ squats

But this is for JV/Returning Varsity Players

What I reccomend is definatley a lot of Leg and Core Excercises. When you play volleyball you are close to always squatting and getting low for balls. Definatley do situps and Lunges, and squat jumps too.

For practicing, wear a normal t-shirt, not too tight or you'll get too hot. Bring extras also. Shorts for higher levels of the game are usually spandex, but for modified/ middle school, wear comfortable gym shorts that won't get in the way. Longer socks and kneepads i also reccomend because no one likes knee and ankle burns, and it will help you get more comfortable with the floor. Good Luck!

Any clothing that is comfortable. Reg T-shirt & Short (spandex tends to raise up so don't wear them). A pair of Tennis shoes that you reg. wear. If you have your volleyball shoe wear them. Ties your hair back and bring plenty of water. as for what will you do at volleyball conditioning? It's depends on the coaches, but here are some of the drills you will be expected to do. squatting, running, jumping for spiking, jumping for blocks, crisscross running, lines scrimmage. Be prepare to sweat and exhausts - don't eat too much before your conditioning. Hopes this info helps

If you are a basketball playerand you need your game to be more complete you then have to jump larger, really jump higher with 9 to 15 inches with assistance from this program https://tr.im/4QSrJ , the Vert Shock program.

There are lots of basketball people out there who reveal the exact same purpose and would need to increase their vertical jump enough to finally manage to dunk and you certainly can do that in only 8 week with the Vert Shock program.

The workouts do not need any major weightlifting and most of the training contains bodyweight exercises, jumps, and sprints, occasionally you will make use of a basketball and your entire progress will soon be for sale in the work out sheets that you could bring out with you on your mobile or pill, or you are able to just download the PDF's and print them from paper.

With Vert Shock the dunk just seem easy.

running always helps!!! crunches are good too. During our volleyball conditioning, we do suicides A LOT. But doing jump ropes helps alot!!! What works even better is when u pick a line on the ground or put a stick down and jump back and forth, from front to back and from side to side. it helps make u quicker. 90 degrees for 90 seconds is really good too. stairs and stadiums. the plank. backwards crunches. there is this thing were you get in puch up position and in one quick motion you pull your legs in to your chest, then jump up and reach for the sky, then you reverse it until you get back to the beginning. it works. BE SURE TO PRACTICE YOUR HITTING, BUMPING, SERVING, AND EVEN SETTING!!! :)

at my volleyball conditioning this is what we did :

-when we got there we did a warm up ( such as the indian run , run/sprint in place, run lasp for 5 minutes)

    - we did stuff across the floor( tippy toe walk, heel walk, inch worm, high skips, lunges , shuffles)

-then we did jumps, he taugh us how to jump correctly and how we should land to prevent injuries. we did serveral types such as, just regualr up and down, the sqwat jumps, and then side to side jumps.

    - then we did sprinting . we sprint up to the net, jump correctly , and back pedel back. we did that several times.

-then lastly we would do a circut exercise. like one time would be push ups, situps, calf exercise, then abs. and each time it would change to something different.

all this lasted about an hour and a half.

    what you should wear:

    -spandex shorts

    - a t-shirt ( not too loose and not too tight)

    -tennis shoes

    -knee pads

-and your hair in a pony tail

and lastly make sure you have plenty of water !

    I hope this helped
