I'm always optimistic when it comes to the resiliency of nature.

That new finding just confirms that nature takes care of itself. We are always finding out about things way after they happen. We're always delayed on observing nature. I guess that's the way it will always be. Nature is way ahead of us.

I understand that we find millions of new species every year. How many more are there to find?

I already knew plastic broke down readily in nature. Everything is biodegradable. That's why I know we can't harm the planet no matter what we do. That's no reason to pollute, of course. I'm glad in the US we have the lowest pollution levels and our levels keep going down as they rise in other countries around the world.

Let's keep up the good work and keep being optimistic.

Slightly, but only if it breaks it down into carbon and not carbon dioxide. However, it can only break down one plastic and there is a lot more waste than just plastic, but it's a start and I'm glad about that :)
