Good drawing tablet????????????
So, i draw normal stuff on paper an everything. I've decided i want to get a tablet soon to start doing digital artwork. i know NOTHING about them, so what's a good one? Something priced under 300$ would be great. also, any explanation about tablets would be helpful too. if you know a good tablet, send a link to it please!
Also, what programs are good to use with a tablet for basic drawing and such? And what's the difference in pressure sensitivity or whatever it's called.

Wacom is the Industry Standard for Drawing Tablets
http://www.wacom.com/en/Products.aspx
I suggest the Bamboo Series if your just want for personal, uses. They have flavors less then $100. Average being $150 for a decent.
Intuos of course costing about $300.
Edit:
Bambo has 512 pressure sentivitiy
Intous has a 2048 pressure sentivity
Edit2:
Pressure sensitivity is important for artists, Consider a pencil, when you apply little pressure on a paper you will notice the line is thinner and faint, while applying more pressure it will be darker and thicker. So the higher the pressure the sentivity allowed the more gradient and variation you can get as in real life.
best program of course is Photoshop, Maya, of course both are ridiculously expensive
The next best option is GIMP a free photo editing software which is as good as photoshop.
But wacom is not natively supported but you can read this article on how to make it support wacom tablets.
