Any eye Dr's or experts out there?? I see light flashes when I look to the right?

I'm in my 50's and when I look to the right, I sometimes see flashes of light with my right eye at the right edge and top and bottom edge. What could this be?

"princeidoc" (#2 on the list of total best answers) is an optometrist. Click on his picture and then email him. He may be able to give you some insight into what may be happening. Probably no one else on this board, including me, can tell you what might be going on. Our best answer can only be "go to an optometrist".

    Good luck to you

go to the doctor, no one on the internet can give you a diagnosis. It could be many things. The best and ONLY way to get peace of mind is to have it checked out by a professional. if someone tells you it is no big deal and they are wrong won't you wish you had gotten that checked out?
