Sorry. I wasn't able to get on the internet. I appreciate all your answers. I guess I came here because I am interested in the cultural aspect. Also, I really wanted a change from my current job. ERring on the side of caution is good advice. Don't understand it one bit, but I don't think the courts here care if you do or don't!

    this probably was deleted because of prejudice.

    i would er on the side of caution and not do it. they have really strict laws. i cannot find a law prohibiting this or condoning this.

    Any form of PDA is prohibited in the Middle east. They do not know if you are father / child or strangers. It is best to avoid ALL forms of PDAs when outside.

    why would you even want to go there, its a giant dust bowl that is 120 degrees

    i have been there many times and dreaded every time i had to go. since you are a woman it would be even worse they have no laws protecting you or your daughter, for example, if you are raped, they will throw you in jail and the rapist will most likely walk free. it takes 4 witnesses to prove your case if you are a woman. find somewhere else to go.
