There is a GOD. JK but that was an awesome match. Sam played extremely well despite the school yard bully trying to distract her and intimidate her. The better player won and she just happened to be the Classy, Fit, Feminine Hottie from DownUnder.

Sam has reached a point in her career where you'll see her in many more Finals and winning many more Championships...She should be ranked in the Top 3 by next year's US Open.

I'm usually a McEnroe fan, but it was poor of him to be making excuses for Serena. I didn't think Serena played bad at all. Serena came out hitting aces on her serve. I Just think Samantha Stosur played great. Many players came out looking intimidated by Serena and therefor already lost the match before it begins. Stosur took it to Serena and didn't seem intimidated. Many of Serena's opponents gave away games with double faults like Ivanovic, or had no power to there serve, or ground stokes like Wozniacki and that's why Serena was able to advance so easily. Stosur serve had power to it and she didn't give any free points with double faults. I think Stosur frustrated Serena by getting to many points and hitting them back that Serena thought were going to be winners. Many of Serena's opponents play from the base line, because of Serena's power, but Stosur came to the net quite a bit and had a good strategy. I think that's a big difference on why Stosur was able to beat Serena. I'm happy that Stosur won, because she came so close to winning the French open a year ago, battled back from lyme disease and has really worked hard on her game.

Well, I wanted Serena to win. Anyways, good for Stosur. I don't hate her or anything, but she should enjoy this title. This will be her only major more than likely.
