The same reasons Tennis Player wear Underware. The same reasons Boxers wear underwear. The same reasons Mixed Martial Arts Fighter wear Underwear. All of them are trying to make a living and they are gettng paid.

They're called Wrestling Trunks mostly. They're easy to move around in and they won't get too hot under too many layers of clothes seeing as they do a lot in the ring.
