Is anyone else sick of all this useless technology?

I'm only 34, so I'm not THAT old. But I don't see the point of having a phone that can tell me the score of every game being played in the world, or being able to talk to somebody on the phone 24/7 no matter where I am or what I'm doing. And I certainly don't need to get constant facebook updates about what someone I barely even know is having for dinner. Wasn't life happier when it was simpler or is it just me?

    HELL YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad to know somebody besides me understands the Peter Principle and we are at a the level just before peak.
