solve for y x=(y+9)/(Y-2)?

Update:

solve for y x=(y+9)/(y-2)

    Set each of the sets of parenthesis equal to x so:

    y+9=x

    y=x-9

    and

    y-2=x

    y=x+2

    Answer:

    y=x-9

    y=x+2
