i plan to go muskie fishing in villas co. wi. is it still legal to use live squirles?

years ago in the late fall we would live trap live squirrels put them in a custom made hook harness attach a leader to the harness float the squirrel out on a 2x4x6 board. float the board off the boat with a rope attached to the board when the board got over the weed beds we would put the rope so the squirrel would fall off the board and start to swim caught some big muskies that way biggest was 37lbs 8oz lost some other big ones

Update:

oh i forgot to add this note if the squirrel got tired or started to sink we would put the board back out so it could get a little rest n air
