I want to do something memorable for my 40th birthday....?

I want to spend it in the UK, and stay at a nice up scale hotel. But, I don't know where to go or what to do when I get there that would make it more than just any other day. Note, it will be cold cold cold in February so, I would like as much indoor as possible.

    Hi there,

Bristol is an amazing destination to head for any celebration!

You can do so many things and with this group of hotels you can include day packages of activities/spa days/ theatre tickets.

We have a theatre in Bristol called The Hippodrome, as you mentioned your coming in february maybe check out whats on and get a group of you to go?

We also have museums/ art exhibitons etc

There's a huge shopping area: Cabot Circus which also has a cinema and crazy golf area (inside).

For Spa's we have The Lido - super amazing, and we're very close to Bath too - which means if your here for a long weekend you could do Bristol and Bath together!

Check out this Hotel: The Berkeley Square, and also maybe take a look at the hotel groups 'Packages' page to see if anything catches your eye.

Hope this helps with your birthday plans!

Spa hotel with pool etc where you can be pampered. Areas like the Lake District, Northumberland, Yorkshire Dales, Derbyshire will be beautiful. Or a city break with a theatre visit or concert in the evening. Or a weekend somewhere like Dublin. Is there somewhere you have always wanted to visit?
