A rush of memories and emotions hitting you all at once. In a matter of seconds,
you quickly think of your life and wish you would have done things different.
You wish you could get more time. And then everything goes black.

Well I have read a book(I think it was 60 minutes in Hell or something like that) its about a guy who died, and went to hell but was brought back to life. And he describes it as being so quick you dont really have time to remember anything, but if your dying slowly you start to think of all the ones you are leaving behind and like the other guy said wishing you had more time.
Btw Im terribly sorry to hear about your mother :(

Dont worry so much at least she is in a better place now but your senses are the last to go hearing is the very last to go...sorry bout your mom but when your ready to accept what happened even though you don't agree you will feel much better!
