WHY WOMAN PREFER TO WEAR HIGH HEEL SHOES EVEN IT HURTS FEET?

That is a long term punishment to both feet. Toes become deforming after years of wearing. Cannot run with it. It sets up a quite dangerous situation while facing accident like earth quark or robbery. Women still consider that was a fashion and they must follow this uncivilized act to punish their own feet,WHY ? We laugh at those stupid acts in the past like putting rings to extend woman's neck, compress woman's waist with tight dress, bend woman's feet to make it small,inject jelly to enlarge nipple. Why women still continue to wear high heel 5" to 10" shoe for hundred year ??

I think women who wear high heels ( almost all of us) are too uptight in society to give a crap because they are afraid that its not " girly" to stop wearing high heels. And they think guys like it because of the sex appeal they have and how they are often associated with " sexyness" Im one of those women who are more into keeping healthy rather than wearing them because I hate social norms....I hate current society and their stupid " rules". Women who do not realize this are weak and lack willpower to break away from " norm". I hope they get deformed feet and back problems because they deserve it : I

I for one, have never wore high heels, as I know that they are bad for my feet, but also because I have very flat feet and so can't wear them for that reason also.

I too can't understand, why women feel the need to kill their feet slowly by wearing high heels.
