Is undergrad Pharmaceutical Sciences hard?

I'm primarily pre-med, but want to do MD/PhD in pharmacology and this major sounds cool.

Would my GPA be bad?

    It is not so much hard as tedious.

    There are no short-cuts.

    You will spend a fortune on 3x5 cards, memorizing words and phrases until you never make a mistake.

    I am a little concerned about the major's title. "Sciences" is treated often as the equivalent of "studies," a survey course with no depth. You should at least consider a major in pharmacology and/or toxicology and be able to demonstrate great expertise in that specific area.

    I know a couple D.Pharm/MDs and they are great diagnosticians.
